Prof. Dr. Iqbal Hasan Mahmood is a distinguished chest diseases, asthma, and respiratory medicine specialist in Bangladesh. He is serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Respiratory Medicine at MH Samorita Hospital & Medical College. His educational qualifications include MBBS, DTCD, PhD (USA), FRCP (Ireland, Edin, London), FRSH, and FCCP (USA), which highlight his exceptional academic and clinical expertise with global recognition.
Dr. Mahmood is highly experienced in diagnosing and treating a wide range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, allergy, pneumonia, tuberculosis (TB), bronchitis, lung infections, and other chest-related complex diseases. His patient-friendly approach, compassionate care, and use of advanced medical technology have made him one of the most trusted pulmonologists in Dhaka city.
